100 Challenge 2015
100 Challenge
This year, 2015, I have created something that I am calling the 100 challenge. The purpose behind the 100 challenge is to do 100 different things in the year 2015. For some of the things I the list I asked other people for ideas, others I used online resources, and others still I came up with all on my own. The 100 Challenge is not a bucket list. The idea is to complete the entire list by the end of 2015. Some of the things on the list are rather easy, and others will take a considerable amount of effort. I have tried to be somewhat diverse in the things that I have put on the list. However, trying think of 100 different things is not as easy as it sounds. I did not want to out things on that I am already planning on doing or have to do for some reason or another. It would not be a 100 challenge if it were simply 100 things that I was already going to do in the year. Therefore, I had to separate some of the challenges by month. So, instead of “Reading one book a month” I separated the months as a goal themselves. I did this for a couple of different categories. I do not think that this is really cheating because the month long things I know are going to take a substantial amount of time.
Some of the things in the 100 challenge are silly. Others are fun, serious, and even ridiculous. Feel free to take this idea and make it your own. I know lots of people who make yearly goals. I think that this is a good thing and should something we do every year. Rather than a New Year’s Resolution, creating goals allows us to accomplish them at any point in the year. We do not give up after failing a couple of times because we have the rest of the year to accomplish them. I am looking forward to the 100 challenge as I think it will help me to do some cool stuff this year and experiences some new things in the process.

27/100 Completed
Well there you have it, my 100 Challenge. It is my goal to complete these things in the year 2015. I will come here and update the list on my progress. For example, when I complete something on the 100 Challenge list, I will come here and cross it out. At the bottom I will keep a tally of the number completed out of 100. I may change up which documentaries, books, and games will be involved in the monthly challenges as time goes on, but I wanted to have something to work off of. I am excited to begin this challenge and experience the new things that I will be trying out. I challenge you to make your own 100 challenge. It is harder than you might think to come up with 100 different things to do in a year.
I would like to add that I am okay with getting ahead with some of the things on the list. I may find that I have more time to read and may use that to get ahead on the monthly reading list. This also could give me more opportunity to read more books. For example, I have already begun to read The Hunger Games.
